Elysian Suites is located 17,9km from the International Heraklion Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis”, right next to Hersonissos, and just 150m away from the beach. At a distance of 4km, you should have access in cosmopolitan Hersonissos, where you can find restaurants, cafes and nightclubs.

At a very close distance, about 4-5 km, you should visit three traditional villages, the Old Hersonissos, Koutouloufari and Piskopiano, which offer a more traditional atmosphere and where you can find very good choices of Cretan traditional food.

At a distance of 5km. you should visit Golf Crete, the only 18-hole golf course in Crete and one of the most impressive golf courses in the Mediterranean.

Just a 15-minute drive away, you can visit the CRETAquarium. CretΑquarium is an expert in presenting species and ecosystems of the Mediterranean, a sea of unique biodiversity that gave birth to ancient civilizations and welcomes millions of visitors every year from all over the world. Offering 60 tanks of different sizes, containing a total amount of 1,700,000 litres of sea water, it is home to 2000 sea animals, 200 different species found in the Mediterranean basin, and together with the appropriate scenery, it successfully represents the Cretan and Mediterranean sea beds.  

At a distance of 24 km, you can visit the city of  Heraklion. The attractive, bustling capital of Crete and the Minoan site of Knossos – allegedly home to legendary king Minos – are well worth a visit. Heraklion is Crete’s biggest city and the island’s main gateway. Although it won’t easily cast off its disorderly image, the historic quarter inside the old city walls is anything but that. Here, traces of the past go hand in hand with a modern, cosmopolitan way of life: Modern shopping precincts with boutiques, mainstream shops, alluring cafeterias and taverns, alternate with beautiful historical buildings, sight-seeing attractions and museums. You will leave Heraklion with only the best of impressions.
